If anyone in the Bay Area wants to go I will be there with a friend with his M37 Dodge, too bad my M37 is not ready yet! It will be the first time I’ve been with the Z since I have had the Japanese headlight covers. I need to see his M37 again to spark my enthusiasm for my own project with all the delays. It is at the Vintage Oaks shopping center by the Starbucks.

I was visiting the area a couple of weeks ago, wish I would have known this was a weekly(?) thing, I would have checked it out. Did see some nice classics just tooling around, including a boatail Alfa Spider in Sausalito, in this MGA Twin Cam, RHD, at the farmers market

Kinda nice that it’s on Sunday instead of Saturday. It’s more of a drive than I’d like for a C&C, though :/

They say 8am, but all the old men get there way earlier. I’m meeting my friend in San Rafael at 7am and then I’m escorting the 55 mph truck up there.

Oh I see that car almost every time I go to the farmers market! There are some serious cars hidden around here. Actually I think I was there that day!

I’ve made the trip there before, but probably won’t this weekend. I get off work at 1am on Sunday, and it’s about a 90 minute drive from Sacramento to Novato. I probably won’t get enough sleep to be properly motivated to drive out there.
Next time, perhaps?

Yeah don’t do that haha, I work on shows with crazy hours, I wouldn’t! I don’t get to go often because of work, but I’ll post something next time I go.

Sounds good. And if you’re ever here in the Sac region, I’d be much more likely to go, even on a meager amount of sleep, since I can roll my butt back in bed much quicker afterwards . There’s a decent amount of both Saturday and Sunday C&C events here.
On a side note, I was crushed to hear the Blackhawk Museum’s C&C over by Danville was killed off. It was always a seriously impressive turnout of cars there, both in sheer numbers as well as in variety. There’s nothing quite like seeing a row of pristine Deloreans facing a row of imported kei cars.

Actually my friend is from closer to Blackhawk and he is bummed as well. So he's coming here. Plus he knows I'm depressed from delays with my M37 :(
